One account is all you need:
A single username and password gets you into everything Google.

The entire suite of resources used to be referred to as Google Docs. However Google has now changed this so that Drive refers to all of the resources (Docs, Slides, etc.) and Sheets is just one aspect of Google Drive that encompasses the Microsoft Powerpoint like features.

What is Google Drive?

Google Drive allows you to create and edit documents, Docs (similar to Microsoft Word), presentations, Slides (similar to Microsoft Powerpoint), spreadsheets Sheets (similar to Microsoft Excel), forms and drawings right in your web browser and save through their cloud based technology. Up to 15GB of free storage.

More about Slides:

More than letters and words

Google Drive presentations brings something similar to Microsoft Powerpoint to your web browser, with presentation themes, thousands of fonts, embedding animations and more. All for free.

Presentations anytime and anywhere

Anywhere you have an Internet connection you can access your presentations with your login.

Share your presentations

With an email address you can share your presentation as well as give s/he the ability to edit in real time. While in the presentation there is also a chat feature so you can chat with others while you edit.

Never hit save again

All your changes are automatically saved as you type. You can use revision history to see old versions of the same document, sorted by date and who made the change. But remember if your Internet connection goes down then it cannot save your changes in real time.

Works with Microsoft Powerpoint

You can upload Powerpoint files to edit, as well as download your documents in different formats:

  • Microsoft Powerpoint (.pptx)
  • PDF Document (.pdf)
  • PNG image (.png)
  • JPEG image (.jpeg)
