Moving Image Archive

The Moving Image Archive  is a large collection of digital movies uploaded by Archive users which range from classic full-length films, to daily alternative news broadcasts, to cartoons and concerts. Many of these videos are available for free download.  Caution: Many of these videos do not contain closed captions or subtitles.

Films on Demand

Films on Demand contains closed-captioned, academic, documentary, career and vocational streaming media from the Films Media Group. These streaming videos may be viewed from the library's web page or inserted into Canvas classes.

The Library pays a flat fee for unlimited Films on Demand access, so try here first.  Films on Demand adds new content every month.  If you don't find what you're looking for, contact a librarian for assistance.

The Library is charged $2 each time a Kanopy video is viewed, so please assign thoughtfully. If you know that a video will be viewed more than 50 times in a calendar year, please contact a librarian so that she can obtain an unlimited viewing license for that specific film.
