Films on Demand contains closed-captioned, academic, documentary, career and vocational streaming media from the Films Media Group. These streaming videos may be viewed from the library's web page or inserted into Canvas classes.
The Library pays a flat fee for unlimited Films on Demand access, so try here first. Films on Demand adds new content every month. If you don't find what you're looking for, contact a librarian for assistance.

Kanopy is a thoughtfully curated collection of independent, documentary, and world cinema. All content is closed-captioned. These videos may be viewed from the library's web page or inserted into Canvas classes.
The Library is charged $2 each time a Kanopy video is viewed, so please assign thoughtfully. If you know that a video will be viewed more than 50 times in a calendar year, please contact a librarian so that she can obtain an unlimited viewing license for that specific film.

The Moving Image Archive is a large collection of digital movies uploaded by Archive users which range from classic full-length films, to daily alternative news broadcasts, to cartoons and concerts. Many of these videos are available for free download. Caution: Many of these videos do not contain closed captions or subtitles.
