How to limit to peer reviewed articles in the library databases:

  1. Login to  Academic Search Complete

  2. Select  choose databasesto search multiple online databases
  3. Try a broad search first such as: pactice search

  4. Scroll to Limit your results

  • Confirm that full text is selected

  • Confirm that "Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals" is selected

  • Limit the date, if desired, to more current articles

 

5. Select an article that interests you. For example:

  1. Click on the journal title to get more information.

  2. When you are on this page, also take note that the Peer Reviewed field states "yes," and if you continue to scroll down you can see that the Publication Type is "Journal Articles; Reports - Research." Other credible publication types include "Academic Journal."
