available to families with children who are currently enrolled in (or eligible for) a CalWORKs program.

The Men’s Shelter and overflow sleep 202 individuals. House of Hope women and children’s shelter can sleep 105.
Guests at the shelter can stay for 30 days and receive 3 meals per day, toiletries and daily showers, as well as laundry -and clothing vouchers.

The Health and Human Services Agency has several housing programs for low-income members of our community. Including, but not limited to the following:
CalWORKs Homeless Assistance.
Family Stabilization Program.
Housing Support Program.
The Woodlands Apartment Complex.

Redding Housing Division
The Housing Authority of the City of Redding helps approximately 1,600 families with rental assistance each month.
The Housing & Community Development department develops affordable housing with a number of different programs.
