The Mission of RAPANPA is to promote and support the profession of both Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners in the Redding Area. Membership in RAPANPA is open to Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, as well as PA and NP students.

The Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) is a state governmental agency established by law to protect the public by regulating the practice of registered nurses. The BRN is responsible for implementation and enforcement of the Nursing Practice Act: the laws related to nursing education, licensure, practice, and discipline. The Nursing Practice Act created a nine-member Board which serves as the BRN decision-making body.

California Nursing Students’ Association leads by example, creating a statewide community of politically conscious, technologically savvy, and socially aware nursing students. CNSA fosters the transition of the student to the role of the professional nurse through the development of leadership, activism, and advocacy. CNSA supports scholarship, volunteerism, and mentorship to influence nursing education and nursing care in California.

The mission of CSNO is to promote and strengthen its members in their role as the primary health professional within the educational community. This is accomplished through: professional development, legislative advocacy, communication with members, membership recruitment, public relations, governance and leadership development.
